Samsara has in-cab audio alerts, which detects tailgating, speeding, no seatbelt usage, and more. This helps truck drivers improve safe habits and to prevent moving violations from the DOT.

There are three main indicators that may lead to a preventable accident: Speed, following distance, and weather conditions. Each indicator on its own can lead to an accident. Please contact our safety department for more details.

By checking and monitoring the hours available in the logbook, a truck driver can plan out when the load will be delivered based on mileage, speed limit, and finding a parking spot a minimum of an hour before the driving limits are up.

Why do truck drivers need to pass training? A good driver training program can provide defensive driving instruction and discussions of accident types and can reduce the likelihood of an accident occurring. Additionally, having knowledge of road safety can prevent many of the dangers of the road and make the roads safer for everyone.

How do I correctly read an iPass?

A green light indicates a bypass and a red light indicates that the truck driver must pull into the weigh station. If a truck driver does not receive a light on the PrePass transponder at a weigh station, the driver is required to pull into that station.
