Mastermind of Claims Reporting and Analyzing Trucking Data

Ugur's responsibilities include a range of crucial tasks. Taking care of quarterly analyses that provide valuable insights to optimize operations and minimize losses. This focus on loss ratios and claims adjuster reports ensures we stay ahead of the curve. He also expertly handles the claims process, ensuring smooth resolution and compliance to industry regulations. This focus on claims management ensures Real Trucking's financial well-being. Ugur plays a key role in reporting specifically the program, TrueChoice, which empowers informed decision-making within the company. Ugur is also a claims review and loss analysis ace. His keen eye tackles claims, identifying patterns and trends to reduce future losses. This focus on accident prevention encourages a culture of safety here at Real Trucking. Additionally, he informs truckers of ways to be prepared for DOT inspections, as a proactive measure to keep the roads safe for all. 

He keeps everyone informed by sending out departmental announcements, including daily updates on accident-free milestones and trucking industry news. He starts each day strong by sending out company-wide emails celebrating accident-free milestones, creating a positive safety culture. He is also a training advocate, by actively participating in departmental training initiatives, ensuring everyone on the team is updated with the latest knowledge. Ugur continuously tackles his annual and quarterly projects, demonstrating his commitment to continuous improvement. His daily dedication is a recipe for success!

Ugur's success is not just about what he does, but also how he does it. Similarly to a truck driver, Ugur needs to plan out his day; he relies on a trusted to-do list on sticky notes, a simple yet effective method for prioritizing tasks and planning out the day. Ugur must enjoy a hot cup of tea by 9 a.m. This is a small part of his routine that fuels his concentration and keeps him energized throughout the day.

From Aviation to Trucking: A Career Path Fueled by Passion

Ugur's switched career journey from the world of aviation to trucking. This is a glimpse of his versatility and willingness to learn. Here's a glimpse into his professional growth and how he landed at a trucking company.

In 2017, Ugur began his professional journey by attending Aviation Technician Maintenance School. For six years, Ugur honed his skills as an aviation technician, demonstrating his passion for technical expertise and precision. He then transitioned to a Flight Operations Account Manager Assistant role, showing his ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment. He then landed at Real Trucking, where he leverages his talents and is currently thriving as a Loss Control and Claims Specialist.

Fun Fact

Outside of keeping up with ELD mandates and regulations, Ugur is a curious learner and his knowledge extends beyond his professional world. "I like to learn things for fun!" This craving to learn more fuels his growth both personally and professionally and keeps him engaged with all the trucking industry updates.
