Meet the Real Trucking Team: Dariya Mykyta

At Real Trucking we're fortunate to have a team of dedicated individuals on our side, guiding our operations towards success, after all, this is where Real people get Real results. Dariya Mykyta, the Director of our Ukraine Branch, is a stellar leader who embodies integrity, passion, and a commitment to excellence. Even though Real Trucking is a midwestern trucking company, Dariya’s commitment shines overseas. 

Dariya's journey within the trucking industry is a testament to her dedication and drive here at Real Trucking. She started her career at Real Trucking as a support representative back in 2020, she quickly grew within the company, demonstrating exceptional competence and leadership potential. Shortly after being hired she got promoted to being a Team Lead, then Director of Real Support, and ultimately, the Director of the UA Branch, showcasing her commitment to growth and her ability to inspire her team.

As a director, Dariya oversees a team of 42 individuals, ensuring the smooth operation of our Ukrainian branch. Her leadership qualities are stellar as her and her team of 42 impact our operations here in the United States. Her responsibilities encompass a range of projects and tasks. Dariya ensures all operations comply with relevant regulations and legal requirements both in Ukraine and within the trucking industry requirements in the United States. Strategic Planning is another task on Dariya’s to-do list. This plays a key role in developing and executing our international logistics operations which started just under a year ago. In the competitive trucking market, strong strategies are vital for attracting and retaining clients, especially in the European market. Her understanding of the never-stopping world of supply chain management is a plus! 

Her collaborative spirit does not go unnoticed. Teamwork and Communication is what Dariya is all about. She fosters a collaborative environment through daily team meetings and walking meetings to boost creativity. She encourages her team to take breaks when needed as they cover a range of tasks themselves. This collaborative and open spirit is essential for success in the busy trucking industry, where teamwork is key to overcoming challenges and achieving goals.

Dariya's leadership extends far beyond the confines of the office. Her dedication to her team is evident in her efforts to cultivate a culture of excellence, where everyone feels valued and empowered. When Dariya isn't strategizing or leading her team, she prioritizes spending quality time with her family. She also finds strength in her regular gym routine and enjoys exploring new destinations through travel.
